Donations

The EYE of the World Educational Program is offered completely free of charge through our website. Our documentary series and classroom videoconferencing is offered to participating schools and organizations on a pure cost basis. We are supported solely by donations from individuals, foundations and corporations. Charitable donations of any size are always welcomed and are used to provide our full set of programs. Any money raised can be directed to stay in your community and help your local classroom or after-school program participate. Donations are gratefully accepted via the Paypal link to the left of this page, or e-mail us directly to arrange another type of gift at info@eyeotw.org.

Where Your Gift Goes

Donations to EYE of the World go to serving middle school classrooms and after school programs. 100% of the money donated will be used to cover to cost of compiling, producing, and transmitting information back to schools (Iridium satellite phone airtime costs and direct mailing and distribution of our documentary series) and supporting our communications and media production infrastructure.

Gifts of any size are received with great appreciation. If you would like to make a donation please click on the Paypal link to the left of this page. If you would like to support the participation of a specific school or after-school program, please include the name of the organization/community in an e-mail to info@eyeotw.org .

Many companies offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple your gift to EYE of the World. When you make a contribution, please check with your company to see if it offers a program that will provide a match to your gift.

There are numerous levels of support at which you can participate. Regardless of how much you choose to give, your donation will enhance the program and allow us to deliver it to more students. Helps bring the program to an additional student.

$25 Family.

$50 Crewmember.
Sponsor a leg of the voyage.

$150 Voyager.
Sponsor the GPS track. Pays for one year's subscription cost for the live GPS tracker (updates every 10 minutes).

$215 Captain.
Twitter feed sponsor. Pays for one year's cost of the daily satellite twitter feed.

$500 Explorer.
Free champagne sailboat cruise for five with the crew before they leave. Pays for a portion of the satellite phone.
