I have had a fun and exciting month sailing from Virginia to Florida, and I have also enjoyed being the only girl on the boat.
The boys have not cut me any slack ... I have had to be on watch in the middle of the night or in the rain, cook when it is my turn, coil lines, and help with the sails.
The typical 'girl' things I have lacked the most this month have included: showering on a regular basis, wearing makeup, going to Starbucks, and watching Grey's Anatomy. While these sacrifices have not necessarily been fun, it has all been worth it. The past few weeks have been quite an adventure, and I have enjoyed them immensely.
